"Charming cottage, really enjoyed it, great hosts, would stay again"

Lovely cosy wee cottage, well equipped and loved the decor. Really nice garden area too, had complete privacy, ample parking, great kitchen.

Shower wasn’t very powerful but it did the job, shower room was nice and spacious. Hot water was hit and miss but wasn’t a problem - we were out a lot and the shower was hot so tap water not really a problem.

"A charming cottage, perfect for a family getaway."

Great communication with the host and an absolutely lovely cottage. It was clean, very much beautifully decorated and comfortable. It has all the amenities we needed for our stay. We appreciated the welcome goodies upon arrival - it was a nice gesture. Overall, an excellent value for money. (It was also our first time in Moffat and the town is really charming)

"Relaxing and cosy"

From arriving, the cottage is so cosy and unique, we were welcomed with a Easter goody basket, doggy treats and milk, biscuits and oat cakes. The cottage feels very homely and lovely decor. All the fox decor adds a lovely touch. The sitting rom is small but cosy and it works, two lovely spacious bedrooms. We all slept really well even the dog. Theres plenty of places to eat out the bull and star hotel does really good meals. Lots of good dog walks with dog friendly places. It’s definitely worth a visit.

The only downside would be the shower is low pressure and it’s a bit slippy but I’m really knit picking as the cottage is so lovely.

Everything about Fox cottage felt warm and welcoming. It was clean and cosy and with everything we could need. We were very grateful for the wee Easter treats and loved all the foxy touches. We would happily have stayed longer and will definitely come again if in the area.

Fox 🦊 Cottage was a perfect overnight stay for us on our long journey from down South. Lovely location, easy to find, great instructions & property is beautifully decorated. Welcome basket was very thoughtful & much appreciated. We all had a super nights sleep ❤️

"Exceptional"

Fox Cottage had everything you could possibly want...including a welcome hamper. Facilities were great and we loved sitting out in the sun in the garden on our first evening. Staff went out of their way to meet requests.

Fox Cottage was perfect...nothing to dislike!
