Carpenters Cottage - The Lakes!

Beautiful cottage that is tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Ideal location close to shops and restaurants but still within a quiet area. Train station literally round the corner. Beds super comfortable with blackout blinds for a great nights sleep. Would love to return (hopefully when it's sunny).

We had a great stay! Everything was spotless, beds were comfy, all amenities were as advertised. Would highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The only hiccup was I couldn’t get timely response for my late checkout request, but that didn’t change our view at all.

Beautifully decorated, immaculate and lovely furnishings. Cosy home from home, lovely location, clear communication from Hannah and nice welcome pack :) lovely to have Christmas tree and decorations too!

Only if we are being super picky and looking for improvements, a few firelighters, kindling and a bit of tea and coffee would have been ideal :)

Lovely cottage in an excellent location. No parking outside but not such a problem as cheap car park with in a very short walk. Couldn’t have been happier with our booking

Heating wouldn’t work then came red hot 3 am in night control unit rubbish for heating

Lovely cottage on the whole, huge bathroom and well stocked kitchen.

Cleanliness.. felt like it needed a really good clean! Lots of the kitchen utensils were used and just put back, fake eye lashes stuck to some of the blankets provided and the beds were absolutely disgusting with so many hairs found inside! Parking was a bit of a headache as well as the area was so busy.

Lovely stay at Carpenters Cottage. Very comfortable beds, modern decor, wood burner which was lovely on an autumn evening. Excellent comms with the owner. Only 2 min walk from train station and close walk to town.

Nothing I didn't like. I would highly recommend this property
