The house was modern, clean and tidy. The location was great, with town just a 10 minute walk away, and right by the station. Parking in car parks can be expensive, but there are plenty of free on-street parking options available if you're willing to look.

Only some very minor things, really... We wish the towels were bigger, and we wish there were bed side tables. In an ideal world we'd have like a King size bed and shaver sockets too, but understand the house is old and has size restrictions.

Carpenter Cottage was warm cosy and clean. Very good tasteful decor. Great shower, comfortable double.

Area wasn’t great, however was close to restaurants and supermarket. The cottage itself more than made up for position …

No Parking available as we had older relatives with us but managed to find some street parking near .
