We had a fabulous stay at Shakespeare Cottage. Michael was really helpful, the house is really quaint with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great - walking distance to Napier town and beach. Thanks for the great stay!

"Cozy Cottage."

Lovely and cozy, very homely, plenty of room, we all liked the outdoor area. We'll equipped with pretty much everything you need. Nice and handy to the shopping area, within walking distance.

The road access was a bit tight, off road parking was limited, and a bit busy/ noisy for some of us traffic wise.

Location, accommodating close & walking distance to beach & town.

Just didn't like the driveway entrance, the noisy night club down the road, first night in the area there were ambulances & police and lots of people yelling. The neighbour was very verbally loud & using inappropriate language & Arguing with family member ??? there was never a dull.

"High school reunion and 50th birthday celebration"

Great location as it is very close to town. It was great having three couches in the lounge so plenty of seating. Lovely original features in the house including leadlight windows. Kitchen facilities were good. Heat pumps worked well to keep the cottage warm.

As there were seven people in our group, a second bathroom or toilet would have been ideal. Traffic noise outside was noticeable. Driveway was narrow which took some expert manoeuvering for the minivan we travelled in. Ants in downstairs bedroom. Sign for "no shoes on the carpet" could perhaps be moved to the door as it was not obvious until we got inside. One dining chair was rather wobbly. Curtains could potentially be changed for better blockout ones. Dishwasher was missing the cutlery holder. A box of tissues in the bathroom or lounge would have been helpful.

Toilet and shower in the same room but it was a small thing that was managed easily
