the position was great

form the photos it looked way bigger, it’s just a room, decently furnished but a room. hairdryer and light near bed did not work.

A wonderful stay in Lisbon, had everything we needed with great recommendations from the hosts. Comfortable bed, great air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen.

Location was adorable

the location is perfect if you wanna explore the old town. the best viewpoint is only 100 meters away.

Hosts amazing and very communicative and polite. Some people say it's too cramped. Alfama is like that in general I guess. Most places here are. I think it was great. Clean

Shower head didn't stay upright. Fixable. Crater formed in the bed when you slept. Maybe not perfect if you have a fragile back

Great to be in the heart of Alfama and to be able to check into the property after a late night and delayed flight. Also lovely to have a coffee machine and the basics for the kitchen supplied.

Some nights the street was very noisy with mopeds going past, and the place is a bit damp smelling. Wouldn’t suit anyone older/bigger/taller/or with mobility issues.

Location good but noisy at night.

Too cramped for two people staying seven nights. No patio, in house coffee shop or lockers as advertised. Nowhere comfortable to sit. Shower too small for big person and shower head leaking.

Location in Alfama is great, close to metro and trams and lots of restaurants. Steep hill up to accomodation, but good to be in the heart of the area. Apartment was very small, but well equipped.

Bathroom very small, especially the shower, which was old, had a broken door and not particularly clean.

It is very difficult to find anything that I liked in this property. The "house" (I wouldn't exactly call a place approx, 4.5m x 4.5m a house) is very central in Alfama and in 5 minutes, you can get to various central locations.

When we arrived, we noticed a lack of toilet paper and one set of towels when the booking was done for two people. The photos are done and edited in a way that the place looks better/brighter and bigger than it actually is. The floor was sticky when we entered. We noticed upon entering that the doors to the street didn't seem very safe or secure and we were very worried someone could break in while we slept or during the day and take our belongings. When we booked, it said there was an air con unit. This had been removed from the listing by the time we did the check-in, which led us to sleep with the windows open to cool down the place. This made all the noises from the street come in because it is next to a busy street. The place also doesn't have a city view, a patio, or games and puzzles. The kettle didn't seem safe as the bottom was melted. The bed was not comfortable at all as it has a thick mattress topper that moves. The wooden slats underneath the mattress are not fixed and when my partner got out of bed during the night, they slipped and the mattress fell through. We manage to fix it and found out that this issue has happened before because there is tape in some of them to help keep them stable. The doors to the shower are very old and are coming apart from the juncture at the bottom and they're stiff to move. The hot water lasted only for 5 minutes, which made only possible for one of us to have a hot shower. We decided to email Gustavo and Miguel to explain our issues, but mostly our safety concerns regarding the place. Gustavo said he would send someone over to look at the door and later on we received an email that someone would go to the property the following day to fix the door. At no point, we were offered an alternative place to stay while the door was fixed. After this, we decided to book another place.
