Villa Piscitelli

We were in Cavtat second half of May for a reunion with our adult kids. Villa Piscitelli with its three bedrooms and three bathrooms with showers served us perfectly. The villa is immaculately maintained and spotless. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable including bed linens and towels. The front terrace with views over the busy harbor quickly became our favorite spot.

Cavtat, like much of Croatia is hilly. Villa Piscitelli is located uphill from the harbor, shopping and restaurants. You will have to carry bags many steps up so travel lightly. Then the house itself is on three floors, splendid for adults and older kids but unsuitable for the little ones.

The property is in a stunning location overlooking the bay of Cavtat. It is kept in excellent condition, super clean with lots of lovely homely touches. The beds are comfy, bedrooms are spacious with the front two having great views. There are 3 bathrooms (one on each floor) very clean with super powerful showers. There are front terrace is perfect for coffee and breakfast, the middle terrace ideal for family meals with a big table, covered area and outdoor kitchen, the top (sun) terrace perfect for sunbathing or an evening drink. We were meet in the town by Nico who was an absolute gent, even helping to carry the cases up the 78! yes 78 steps (worth every one) to the villa and providing us with a car parking pass. All in all the villa was pretty much perfect for us (6 adults) and was the icing on the cake of our stay in beautiful Cavtat.

The Villa was beyond expectations.... Everything was so carefully designed and planned out, with impeccable taste and everything you could possible need. Stunning views across the bay and a treat to stay here! Plenty of space for 4 adults would recommend to anyone.

What made this stay enjoyable was the instant response to messages from both the owner and Niko. Hugely reassuring. Lots of advice about places to eat and how to arrange transportation from the airport and access to the villa. Niko picked us up from the airport and took us to the property.

We loved the villa but hadn’t appreciated how step the climb was from the harbour to the villa. We got use the climb and enjoyed the views . It would not stop us staying staying there again.

The week in Villa Piscitelli was incredible! We spent it with our son and his partner and grandchildren, 16 and 20. It was amazing in every way for all of us. Three floors of comfort and space with 3 outside areas to sit in. We used everyone, a first level porch off the kitchen dining area where we watch the sailing boats go in and out of Caveat, a second level protected out door dining area where we had two lovely dinners and a third level sunning patio that looked out over all of Caveat. We walked 5 minutes to a beautiful cliff beach with what became one of our favorite restaurants above it for a delicious lunch. The location couldn't have been better and Cavtat in September was ideal. Jalena the owner created a warm and aesthetic home. Communicating with her felt like communicating with a friend. Villa Piscitelli was a gem!

Had a fantastic week staying here. The location of the house was great with good views over the harbour (no need for the gym with the steps up to it). Very well equipped with comfortable beds, good water pressure,aircon, large fridge freezer and washing machine and excellent wifi. We spent most of our time sat outside on the front porch. Jelena provided lots of suggestions and Niko was very responsive and provided a friendly airport transfer. House was well renovated and exceptionally clean.

Property exceeded our expectations. Jelena , the owner and Nico are just proper and made us feel at home. Cavtat is a little gem.

Jelena and Niko were perfect hosts, Jelena was in contact before and during the stay to make sure everything was ok, recommended restaurants, trips etc and Niko collected us from the airport and showed us to the villa.

We spent alot of time on the front porch as the view over the harbour was fabulous. It was quite warm sat there as no breeze so the only suggestion would be if they could fit a fan overhead to just add some relief but it didn't deter us from enjoying the view.
