Oxford's Most Stylish House - Garden & Parking

Convenient for transport in to the city, supermarket close by.

Noise from the loading bay of the supermarket was distracting when trying to get to sleep.

Very comfortable beds. One friend complained they were way too soft, but even he slept very well. Supermarket very close to the apartment (3 min walk) Quiet area despite close to a main street The train station is about 15 min away by foot Enough plates, cutlery, chairs for 4 people (sadly, this is noteworthy as it is not always the case for 4 people apartments??)

It‘s on the wrong side of the train station when you want to see the main sights, but we knew this when booking. We were able to walk everything after all, plus there were also busses running along Botley Road

The house was cosy and well furnished, including a fast internet. Very clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. All instructions given to access the property were clear and easy to follow. There's a Waitrose nearby (within 5 minutes walking). About 20 minutes walk to the City Centre. Recommended for a family/group of no more than 4 people.

The bed in the master bedroom is small for 2 adults. Perhaps more suitable for 2 young children. The towels provided were quite small to dry oneself properly. But not a big issue. Because there's currently a road work in the area, buses don't stop nearby, making it difficult to get around and expensive as we had to take taxis most of the time. The taxi routes were also longer because of the road closure in the area. Perhaps, another time, the area could be more convenient. Not recommended for family with young children.

The property was ideal for parking and walking into the city centre, v handy location with supermarket on your doorstep. The property was decorated very tastefully and well appointed and comfortable.

During my recent stay at this house in Oxford, I was captivated by the charming and cozy atmosphere that the property offered. The interior was nicely decorated, with comfortable furnishings and a warm, inviting ambiance, that made it a quite good place to unwind after a day conferencing in the historic city. The bedrooms were equally comfortable, offering a restful haven with soft linens and tasteful decor.

My experience was significantly marred by the very poor property management. "Pass the Property," the company responsible for managing this otherwise delightful house, which failed to meet even basic expectations. After my stay, I realized a sudden charge of 175 pounds on my card by them – which was supposedly connected to “stained bed sheets”, with no prior information nor any evidence of the fact at all, as we were absolutely sure that the bed was left completely unstained. When I reached out to "Pass the Property" for assistance, their lack of urgency and inefficient service left much to be desired – and included blatant lies on the fact that the money was “just blocked”, whereas it was fully deducted and not available anymore in the bank account. It was only after 3 emails, one week of time for their “investigation”, and another week of time for the release of the money, that I finally got the amount back – and probably just because in the meantime I had already filed a claim for a scam case at the Small Claim Court, as I was not ready to let go a blatant fraud like this, so I wonder what would have happened if I were less protective of my own rights. Despite these management issues, the house itself remains a wonderful option for those seeking a cozy and relaxed holiday in Oxford. I hope that the owners consider a different management company in the future to ensure that the quality of the property is fully matched by the quality of its management. With better property management, this charming retreat could easily become a five-star getaway.

The property was clean and presented well great position to walk to train and into Oxford. Kitchen well equipped washing machine well used.

The home is cozy and clean. The location is around the corner from a nice Waitrose and a 15 min walk to city centre.
