Woodside Steading

Perfekte Lage, perfekte Unterkunft. Alles super, wir wären gerne länger geblieben oder gleich eingezogen. Leider konnten wir den Garten ob des Wetters nicht genießen. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht das nächste Mal.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Die eingestellten Bilder werden der Unterkunft nicht gerecht, die Realität ist noch schöner. Und die beiden Vermieter, Nadja und Jan, sind supernett. Bei Bedarf immer ansprechbar und haben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, was nicht in Reiseführer etc. steht. Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen in Woodside Steading verbracht und die Zeit verging viel zu schnell!

We stayed here for our honeymoon - we wanted complete peace and quiet in the countryside and this exceeded our expectations. The steading was absolutely perfect, very spacious with everything you need, the fresh eggs and shortbread are such a lovely touch! The bed is big and extremely comfortable (amazing sleep every night!). Large fully enclosed garden was fantastic to sit out in and our dog thoroughly enjoyed her new surroundings. The place is fully equipped for everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay with lots of things to see and do short drives away. Nadja and Jan are incredible hosts, so friendly and on hand if anything is needed but respected our privacy too. Jan gave us recommendations on lots of places to visit - so much we didn’t have time for even with a two week stay so looks like we’ll just need to come back 😅 10/10 in every way and we can’t wait to visit again

The steading was really clean, had everything we needed and the garden was amazing. Really enjoyed sitting outside with that view.

Cottage was clean and well equipped. Lovely big fridge. The rooms a good size. The garden very nice to sit out in with lots of bird song. Our host was very friendly and helpful

No real space to put our own food. A minor problem but meant food was sitting on the counter.

I don't think there was a single thing that I didn't like. Maybe just the long drive to get there, but it was well worth it

It was so peaceful, exactly what we needed. The steading had everything we needed. Lovely enclosed garden that the dogs loved running around. House was lovely and cosy, we met Jan who was really welcoming.
