Shamrock Holiday Home

The hotel is a small paradise located in the heart of the tea plantations. The room was clean and very spacious, we had a room with a balcony and an amazing view. The hotel manager helped us with the organization of the sightseeing with a tuk-tuk.

Breakfast could be definitely better.

Good view and ambience

The hotel offers a Good mountain view.. The food is Nice, with a variety of well-prepared dishes. The hospitality is warm and welcoming, with attentive staff ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience for guests.

A little remote from center of Munnar, food was mediocre, drab room with no decor, bed not comfortable.

The location is close to Munnar (15 mins drive) and has beautiful views of the mountain. Rooms are big, separated into 2 areas: sleeping room and living room. Breakfast was good too.

The view from my balcony was unbelievably nice. The reception even had a guitar so I was able to sit on my balcony and play music to relax.

Amazing balcony view and friendly, helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was very reasonably priced and convenient. Would recommend for a good value stay in munnar.

The location of the Shamrock Home overlooks the beautiful mountains and tea plantations. Absolutely stunning views. The hotel itself is set on the side of a mountain, with meandering steps lined with flowers and plants, interesting architecture, and heart-stopping vistas. The staff was very friendly and helpful, carrying my bags, offering in room ordering and delivery for my meals, and most helpful booking taxis for my outings. You’ll love this property.

I’m mid-sixties, and found the all the steps a bit of a challenge. If you’re in good shape already, they’ll be a breeze.
