Beautiful mountain views & private hot tub

This property was the perfect escape from everyday life , it was so secluded that you wouldn’t even know the property was there, but still close to all shops restaurants etc. our children loved how close we were to the animals horses etc the farmer even allowed us to pet them , the property had everything we need as a large family and more , the property was well equipped with all the toys necessary to keep children entertained and the hot tub was so inviting with a beautiful backdrop of scenery, will definitely book this property again , Martina had left all information and guidance for the property and surroundings 🥰👍 the best property we have stayed at by far x

Maintenance on some things very poor Shower in master suite broken, Kettle didn’t work well Toaster has seen better days Lot of taps loose Lot of lamps with no bulbs No blind on skylight of kids bedroom, room very bright Toilet in front downstairs bedroom splashes all over the walls when flushing. Door in downstairs back bedroom opening onto hallway doesn’t close Property states there is a BBQ but it was far too dirty to use. All fairly minor things that wouldn’t be hard or overly expensive to fix with better maintenance. Bed in master suite wasn’t overly comfortable, mattress really dips in the middle and head board very unstable. As others have said a bigger dining table would be ideal. We managed around this but for a family of 9 it was a shame we couldn’t sit down and dine together.

The property was incredible. The photos online don't even do it justice....you have to see it to believe it. The location was perfect for us too - private and rural but 10 minutes from Castlewellan which was great.

4pm check in felt quite late...we found ourselves hanging around for quite a while. This was stated upon booking though so it wasn't a surprise.

This house is absolutely beautiful and it had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, all amenities and we had no issues during our stay which needed addressed. Good space for kids in the house and even had the travel cot set up and ready to go. There is a little annex room off the main master bedroom which has a radiator and window in but is not advertised as an official room but it was perfect for our young kids to sleep in in the travel cots. The hot tub was an added bonus and views from it were stunning! Would highly recommend!

The only downside was that the hot tub was not ready to be used until the following morning as it was not heated up enough on the first night. This was a shame as we arrived on NYE and had dreams of enjoying a hot tub that evening but other than that, couldn't fault the house or the host.

Fantastic location, spacious and private. Good facilities. This was our 3rd time staying and we’ve booked for summer and next Christmas also.
