"Excellent base for a walking weekend in the Mourne Mountains"

Excellent, spacious and comfortable house, ideal for our group undertaking the Mourne 7 7s walking challenge. We especially appreciated the hot tub after our long walk!

Minor point but a few more cups, plates and bowls would be great.

"Lovely yet dirty"

Beautiful house, great location and stunning views.

The cleanliness was terrible. There was stains on the bed sheets. The ensuite bathroom was unusable, the foul smell coming from the drains was terrible. Couldn't use the bath because there was no hot water tap on the bath. The hot tub was disgusting. There was a scum all around the edge with very dirty water in it. The floors were all hair, and there was dirty tissues lying in one of the bedrooms.

"Fantastic week in an amazing house"

Spacious and comfortable house with great views over the Mourne mountains. We were 10 adults and 2 dogs and we spent a glorious week here celebrating my mum’s 75th birthday and there was enough space for everyone to relax without anyone getting on top of each other . Despite the great size of the house it was also relaxed and cosy. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic for chilling in. The location is fantastic and close to lots of great places to visit including Castlewellan, Newcastle and if you have a dog I would recommend a visit to Murlough beach for an invigorating walk . There are plenty of places to eat nearby - we ate at Greenan’s just down the road and the Yard in Castlwellan, I would recommend both. We also ordered a buffet for my mum’s birthday night from Cunningham’s in Kilkeel - great quality and value. The owners of Snowdrop cottage were quick to respond to any messages

"Fantastic house with plenty of space!"

The house was on a country road free from much traffic. The house was spacious and the underfloor heating was amazing! The hot tub was a bonus and a big hit with our kids.
