"Beautiful traditional house. With an amazing host."

The house is beautiful. If you want to experience staying in a traditional Japanese home this property is perfect. The host Kei also went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It felt like having a friend in town who helped make your stay comfortable.

aside from it being a traditional Japanese style home (of which more interesting details you may learn from the Host), the home is beautiful. There are several contemporary appliances and furniture that mix in well with the home - to make it a perfectly realistic, yet also comfortable stay.

"A magical experience"

Staying at this beautifully restored traditional house, built over 100 years ago, was an incredible experience. The house and the surrounding little garden form a serene zen oasis where you can wind down and forget all your worries. The wonderful host, Kei, welcomed us warmly and went out of his way to create the best possible stay for us. It was lovely to hear stories about his family house and the Nagano region. In the evening, we sipped house-made holy basil tea by the fireplace. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a hot bath and freshly ground coffee roasted by the master of the house himself. We would love to come back and stay for longer in this magical place!
