Lytton Tree Lodge Near Southwold

Lovely quiet location with large rooms and spotlessly clean. Great free on site parking, too. The option of being able to prepare light meals in the included kitchenettes is a good idea although we didn’t take advantage this time. We also like the individual private patio area attached to each lodge. Overall a thoughtfully set up facility. Communication from Gavin, our host, was extremely good too.

It is a Little further to walk into Southwold than we thought and there is no taxi service into town. If you want to venture into southwold to sample the Adnams ales then be prepared for the 25 minute walk back!

Great location, and an excellent well equipped apartment. Really good communications from Gavin the owner as well.

We had lodge 2, it was quite dark inside, not much natural light. But this is only a very small gripe, and we would definitely return.

Great location, clean spacious, no messing around at all lobby just straight and enjoy your time.

Perfect place to stay whilst on a bike tour. Very clean and well equipped

Lovely little location and the flexible facilities were fantastic. The hosts were great on the lead up to the trip and made sure the facilities met our needs. We hope to come back.

Gavin was really friendly and helpful both before and after our stay, keeping us informed of when our room was ready. He was happy to answer any questions we had and always responded quickly. The room was very large and there was access to a garden at the back. There were good basic kitchen facilities for making drinks and basic meals. We were staying with our baby and both a baby bath and travel cot were provided which was really helpful. Walking distance to Southwold.

We knew there wouldn't be a hob as part of the kitchen facilities, but one in the future would be helpful to allow for a little more self catering.
