Heron Lodge with Hot Tub

beautiful lodge and perfect facilities in a lovely quiet location. we had the best time here, total relaxation. Hot tub not overlooked at all which we loved. Great stay

The lodge has a lovely feel and is very nice and cozy. No Wi-Fi as it didn’t work the whole stay.

I tried to communicate twice before my stay and had no response either time .

We Loved the lodge, was lovely and homely, everything thought of for a comfortable stay

We noticed a slight smell upon arrival its got so much worse over the course of the week, it smells like raw sewage, when leaving we looked round the back of the lodge, its all wet and stinks, it was so bad towards end of week we couldn't bear to use hot tub, the smell did actually make me physically sick before we came home , I'm disappointed that this did put a dampener On our break, this needs to be looked at, right behind where the hot tub is on the ground is all wet and smells repulsive.

Everything was there that was needed to enjoy a truly excellent family holiday. Just one point to note maybe have the heron lodge file and book out for everyone to see and find on the dining table as they arrive. Also one minor detail the lodge has a digital aerial but no cable connection from the tv to the socket in the room so we were limited to what was already installed on the tv.

Other people who arrived to the park walking through the woods at the back of our lodge which given we were enjoying the hot tub at the time was rather off putting, rude and very inconsiderate our privacy was not respected and perhaps the park could advise others for future reference.

The lodge was very clean and modern. The bedrooms were large with plenty of storage. The outside area had a hot tub and decking with table and chairs. The lodges aren’t too close and had lots of space round them. The location was great, short drive to a Malton and Castle Howard.

The hot tub was still being cleaned when we arrived but we did check in early.

Location was great for our visit to Flamingo Land

The room with two single beds. The mattress on one of the beds was not fit to sleep on.
