Locatie achter een oude fabriek onder de grafitty en naast een spoorbrug en tegenover de brandweerkazerne. En er werd een intentie gegeven dat er een bubbelbad was maar dat had onze boot niet.

Salon de jardin et jacuzzi très sale. L’heure d’arrivée tardive (17h) mais possible à partir de 14h00 pour un prix exorbitant. Le nombre d’e-mails reçus pour ajouter des suppléments très chers. Difficile d’imaginer 6 personnes dans le logement.

The Wikkelboats have a cool concept. The woodworking is very beautiful, the whirlpool on the deck is a highlight.

You have absolutely no privacy on the houseboat. There’s constant activity on the water, which would be fine if the houseboat itself offered any privacy. While we were having breakfast, a staff member suddenly came onto our terrace to access the cellar via the hatch. We thought he’d forgotten something — but he kept going in and out for 1 hour to do housekeeping for the boat next door, using our terrace the entire time. Later, 2 complete strangers docked a rental water bike on our terrace — no warning. 15 minutes later, the next renters arrived. Since we hadn’t agreed to this, the staff eventually moored the bikes at the neighbor’s terrace instead which they weren't happy about either. We didn’t use the hot tub or let our dog out that afternoon because we had no idea who might show up next. An absolute no-go. The outdoor furniture needs replacing and the terrace is covered in cobwebs. Also, just a heads-up: this isn’t a cultural area — it’s more like a party zone. On Saturdays, boats with drunk, shouting men pass by the houseboat every few minutes.
