Very cold on arrival

Comfortable and cosy. Great location near to motorways, but surrounded by lovely countryside. Really nice river at end of street which was perfect for a seat on the fence and a cuppa.

Great location, close to everything. SuperValu literally a minute walk away, and nice to be so close to the river. Park with children's playground just past the supermarket. TV solution worked well. Host was very responsive which is always good. I'm from the area originally and Bagenalstown is a lovely little town.

It was fine, but no more than that. Long hairs in the shower of the double ensuite, and hairs on the windowsill in the twin ensuite. Not sure how long they'd been there. The shower in the twin ensuite is surely some sort of practical joke. Could have forgiven the inability to set temperature to a normal level instead of freezing or scalding, but barely any water comes out of it anyway. Almost zero water pressure. Would be nice if a few teabags/coffee sachets were included or something, that's the least you'd expect. I've rented my house out and would be embarrassed if I didn't provide that. If I knew there was a family staying over Christmas, I'd probably make at least a token attempt to put up an odd decoration or two. But, yeah, felt more like a basic student house than a homely place.

This is a lovely house. We really liked the two ensuite bedrooms and the downstairs toilet. The location is excellent, a few steps from the Barrow Way, with supermarkets a few minutes walk.

Location by the river, quaint town

Location, size of property, fairly quiet area, walking distance to downtown area.

Needs replenishing of some kitchen items, only 3 dinner knives, a few more glasses and a better chef knife would be good.

Quiet, clean, easy parking. Attentive hosts.

The only challenge we had was no TV due to a WiFi glitch but the hosts addressed it quickly. Overall nothing we did not like
