Townhouse 2 Barrow Lane

Lovely town, great location of townhouse, close to canal and shops. Find the place and parking was easy.

Great little house for what we needed, house was clean and tidy and the host was brilliant with keeping in touch

It's that time of year, but there was lots of flies in the house! although we weren't sure if it was the same one that kept coming back in. Needed more toilet roll for a 2 night stay and 4 people! And there was only 3 mugs, so we took it in turns for tea :) Only very minor things though and would be back again!

3rd visit with no car, train/bus near by, the sound of the canal is just lovely, hail rain or snow its a lovely spot, went to killkenny a 20 min train ride, picked up a boat trip that was magical,, jimmys pub on your doostep, just spoiled myself

,,not being able to stay longer,,,il be back for sure,,,,,got plenty of bread for the ducks

Lovely accommodation

No freezer, and tv wasn’t great, also shower head didn’t stay upright in the double en-suite

Very clean easy access and close to pubs and shops

Amazing location with pub, shop and playground across the road. Also right at the river which offers a scenic walk. Property ad everything we needed. Host was accommodating and quick in replying. Would recommend and hope to be able to book again in the future.

The hosts were amazing. Got in touche very early and answered all the questions. Made sure to have good recommandations when we asked. Supervalue is super close to the house which is very nice. Parking is right in front of the house. No noise. Big house with two bathrooms ! If you have a care and travel in the area this is perfect place to stay if you want to unwind in a nice place without paying the high price of Kilkenny.

Cleaning could have be a little more thorough but the host had to change house at last minute (which was agreed upon and no bother for us) so it might have played.

Great location , everything is there that you need

The house is tired needs freshening, back lawn gone just lumps of concrete in the back not a usable space . Fireplace broken No proper furniture (small couch and 2 uncomfortable chairs ) poorly equipped kitchen eg only 4 mismatched mugs and glasses. Plumbing very noisy. Don't get me wrong it's functional but not luxury, would suit for a couple of nights but that's all .
