"Very good"

The cottage is beautiful, has everything needed to self cater, and is perfect for a getaway.

The shower runs a little on the warm side. Can't adjust the heating either.

"Perfect getaway for a couple with dog."

10.0

Love the coziness and the location. Bed was very comfortable as this was our baby moon so it was essential my wife could get a very comfortable sleep.

No access to the patio but we managed to make it work to let our dog out in the morning. Shower room had no blinds so could be an issue for some people.

"Great Cottage"

10.0

Stayed here for a 2 night babymoon. We came from Yorkshire and visited Silverstone Museum, Bicester Village and then had a day sightseeing in Oxford. The location is perfect for getting into Oxford. We also ate at the Turnpike pub nearby which was lovely (great mocktails for me!) The area was lovely and quiet. The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. We loved the underfloor heating. Very comfortable bed and good shower. We didn’t want to stay in Oxford itself as we prefer the countryside feel, this cottage gave us exactly what we wanted.

Nothing! We had a lovely stay.

"Comfortable, private and well located."

10.0

Comfortably, cosy, quiet, good facilities, great location. It was nice to see the decorative improvements made to the property since my last visit including the revamp of the kitchen and bathroom.

Unfortunately there was a small leak from the toilet at the end of our stay which occurred when my friend was using the shower - thankfully we figured out how to turn the water off to the toilet and as we were checking out that morning it didn’t cause us a great deal of inconvenience. Some of the crockery was a bit dirty and it would have been helpful to have a dish cloth to wipe down the surfaces during our stay rather than just the small sponge. Other than that - a fabulous place to stay and use as a base.

"Comfortable and relaxing. Will be returning for sure."

Very clean and tidy. They left tea and coffee for us which was a lovely touch. Very comfortable bed and we loved the wet room.

The loud church bells in the morning but this can’t be helped.

"a sad third place of our 2 week holiday from guernsey."

1.0

the location was fine, easy to find.lovely gardens.

we had call the day before our arrival to say that the cottage was undergoing building work and were we ok with the luxury barn, we said that was fine.when we arrived no one was there and the kitchen was really dirty, we went and bought cleaning products and new cloths (we took photos) and cleaned th place, the dishes had to be washed before we could use them etc.there was a lady doing the gardens' asked her to come in and see she gave us the email address of the owner and we messaged twice with no reply.its been a month we haven't heard a thing.disapointing?yes.would we go back? certainly not. had the bed not been clean we would have left, there really is no excuse why the kitchen was so bad, something had to be wrong thats why we e mailed the owner, not having a reply we are obliged to give a very honest review.
