Ruskin Lodges Argyll, by Puck's Glen, Rashfield near Dunoon

Fantastic lodge in a beautiful area. The house is equipped with everything, we lacked nothing. Perfect cleanliness. The kitchen has all the basic equipment. Comfortable beds, thick winter blankets, which were very good during the cool nights. Perfect hospitality, perfect communication. I can only recommend😍

The location could not have been better, being a short stroll from Puck's Glen and Benmore Gardens. The accommodation was well-located for driving further afield in the Cowal Peninsula. The accommodation was very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. We liked the free samples of local produce, e.g. coffee and honey, but the best thing was the grandstand view we had of the local wildlife, particularly the Red Squirrels and wild birds.

The location was lovely and convenient for visiting other places. Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Great watching red squirrels and some beautiful birds. We just loved it there. Would stay again.

Lodge was lovely, had everything we needed and in a perfect location for pucks glen. Accommodated 6 adults comfortably and cosy when it was just the two of us with our dogs. Veranda is secure so great for dogs to dry off. Host left loads of information, which was extremely helpful and responded to any questions very quickly! The laundry area was a bonus (washing machine & dryer) no sodden wet clothes to bring home! Cooking was easy as all the necessities were there but if you fancy a night off takeaways deliver. The site itself is well maintained and lodges laid out so each one has space, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere...perfect if you want a base away for hustle and bustle! Short drive to Ardentinny beach which is beautiful, even when raining...lots of places to visit and loads of places to eat out! Will definitely return!

Liked the blackout curtains and bed linen. Complimentary food and coffee.

Bit of a damp musty smell in back bedrooms. Doors fell of wardrobe. Single beds a bit lumpy.
