Beautiful location set back off the street just on the edge of the village & really quiet.

The weather was quite cold while we were there & we found it a little cooler than we would like in the evenings, however there was a free standing fan heater provided.

location was quiet. It was a pleasant and clean place to stay and convenient for the places we wanted to visit.

The seating in the lounge area was not the most comfortable. It was a smaller than 2 person sofa/chair and a matching chair but it was functional not comfortable. I'm not sure how 4 people would manage. It wasn't overly warm and the heating was controlled from the owners house so not easy to turn up/down. There was an electric fan heater but it was noisy and the plug got very hot. It was not comfy and cosy and not 'luxurious' as stated in the discription. Disappointed

"Great short break stay and just what we wanted"

All we needed for a two night stay, clean and fresh in a quiet location just the right size for 3 adults.

Nothing bad to say we will probably stay again in future.

"Lovely village with lovely people"

Host was there to greet us. Honest, clean, proud property. Small for our habits but this is a non touristic area and it was great. The hosts went out of their way to be welcoming and were there to help at every step. They turned the heating on and kept the place toasty throughout our stay.Loads of clean towels and all amenities for daily living I would definitely recommend this property.

"Overall a great place to stay."

The living room chairs were awful. Really need to get more comfortable seating. TV sound want great.

"Really comfortable cottage perfect for discovering Wiltshire!"

All the extra bits, coffee etc and fans - it was hot when we arrived, very thoughtful. Easy to find, fabulous bedding and very well equipped. perfect for what we needed.

The twin beds were a bit small and, although it didn't bother, us some people might be perturbed by the traffic noise ; but the other side of that is you are in the middle of a village with everything at hand.

"A perfect stay"

We received detailed and helpful information immediately after booking. When we arrived, everything was lovingly prepared and ready for a cosy cup of tea and biscuits. The facilities were even better than expected. The parking was right outside the front door. The beds were very comfortable.

Everything was perfect, I would book here again anytime.
