Centre village 2 bedroom cottage - The Byre

Location good for what we had planned. The Chutney (Glutney!) was delicious… 🤪 Did not meet the hosts so unable to comment.

Sofa & armchair uncomfortable. Extra pillows would have been good. Although the Nespresso machine with pods was advertised on the web site, drinking an espresso from a mug was not ideal, need to supply a couple of espresso cups.

A beautiful, compact, clean and comfortable cottage, well placed for visiting local beauty spots.

Being autumn/winter and spending evenings indoors, the seating in the living room looked good but not very comfortable.

Easy to find, everything you need was there, very thorough information, lovely homely feel, very clean, great hosts, very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to messages. There was even a little dishwasher!! Tea, coffee, etc was provided, really well equipped kitchen too. Hand wash/ body wash smelt lovely

Everything was lovely for us, if you were planning on staying more than a couple of nights and not going out much then maybe a slightly more comfy/ bigger sofa would be better.

The cottage was cleverly designed and had everything one needed, all very discreetly stored away. It was very safe, being on one floor, as I was with my four year old granddaughter. A perfect location and I hope to return in the near future.
