Rural self contained cosy pod house.

It was a cute place, in the middle of nowhere. Bed was so comfortable and warm. We would recommend this place. We loved it was so close to our day out.

There was nothing we didn’t like, but would recommend that a radio would be nice.

Lovely pod as per pictures. Kitchen equipment, fridge and 2 plate electric hob really useful. Sofa bed and bed comfortable. Compact but space enough for 3 adults (family). Pleasant decor. Great value for money. Great location for the 3 castles or Oldfield Forge. The pod is in a gated and private section of larger garden/ paddock behind the owners house but with its own outdoor deck & fenced garden space. Pub walking distance.

Hot water in shower was ‘unstable’. The garden feels very enclosed as the pod’s fence is so high- no view- just wooden fence. There is dedicated and gated parking but I found it awkward with a medium sized car (Kia Carens) as you had to negotiate several tight corners, parked cars, gates and a log pile. I would not be able to turn around safely in the dark and reversing out would be an absolute non starter (even in daylight).

A lovely peaceful location. Great for a quiet weekend getaway.
