Rural self contained cosy pod house.

Was lovely, cosy, comfortable and private. Helpful owner. Private, quiet and countryside location.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

Glorious getaway

It was cozey, quiet and out of the way.

We loved everything about our stay in the pod. Anna is a wonderful host, she was very welcoming. The area is absolutely breathtaking, it’s the perfect place to get away from the everyday chaos.

Lovely accommodation suited our needs and in a very good location for Hereford or Ross on Wye. Private garden and sitting area we did not use as weather was a bit cool but would be great if it was warmer. Anna was welcoming and helpful, checking if everything was okay. Would book a stay at this property again.

Nothing really

Accommodation was exactly how described on the website. Quiet area with lovely scenery. Friendly service and excellent communication. Exactly what we were looking for for a quiet leisure break. And local to the Oldfield Forge. Lovely local towns a short drive away.

The bed was soft (however I know this is down to personal liking). The bathroom door didn't seem to close properly but nothing was a big issue. Accommodation was lovely and clean, presented well. Would definitely recommend.

After a long drive I was ready to relax on the sofa and watch a bit of TV , unfortunately the sofa is too small to sit on and there is no TV , never mind I will make my microwave popcorn and connect my laptop to the WiFi and watch Netflix, oh wait , no microwave and no WiFi. There was a kettle tho. So early to bed , nice to have a double bed to myself, oh wait , I'm not alone . Not sure of the species but there was definitely lifeforms present in the bed and bedding, possibly from the beddings previous owner at the car boot sale. Luckily I didn't oversleep the next morning as the owners smallholding,which surrounds the tiny hut, if full of action and exciting noises first thing in the morning . I also had a lot of fun following the "rules" and got really good at opening and closing gates. The highlight of my trip was when I bought a jar of olives at Aldi.

The pod is exactly as described, cosy and rural. Everything was very easy, relaxed and peaceful. Parking just outside the pod is ideal. We stayed for a Friday and Saturday night as my partner had an experience booked at Old Field Forge which is a 3min drive from the pod (if the weather had been nicer we probably would've walked and taken in the lovely scenery!) I liked that the pod has a decent sized fridge and the bed is very comfortable. I feel the pod is very fairly priced and good value for money. Thank you for having us :)

The only thing I would say could be improved was just the little walkway round to the pod from the car park space, it's a bit uneven and muddy, in drier weather possibly not a problem though.
