Rural self contained cosy pod house.

Quirky hobbit like house. Good fun. Sun came in early evening. really lovely to open the doors and sit in the doorway in the sun. Clean and comfy. Perfect for a solo traveller. It felt very safe. Really nice having a night off from the TV. I found I could get clear internet on my phone network so even though there's no WIfi I had access to radio/music.

Maybe a microwave or air fryer would be useful for warming food. The hotplates worked well though.

The location was perfect for our stay and the village was lovely. The host was very nice and the accommodation suited our needs.

There wasn't anything to dislike about the trip

This property is advertised as “pets welcome,” yet there was no clear indication that cats are excluded. I specifically searched using Booking.com’s pet-friendly filter, and this listing appeared as available. After traveling several hours with our cat, the host informed me that pets are “allowed on request,” a condition that was not made sufficiently visible at the time of booking. She then refused to accept us because we had a cat, even though a cat is a pet. The host also refused to provide a refund, despite being made aware that we were already nearby and left without alternative accommodation at short notice. Her response, including a smiling emoji, showed a lack of empathy in a very difficult situation. In the end, we had no choice but to return home, and our holiday was completely ruined. Guests should be aware that this listing is misleading and not reliably pet-friendly.

We stayed in the pod for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time. The area is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of lovely places to explore nearby. We had a couple of small issues when we first arrived, but after speaking with Anna everything was quickly sorted the next day, which we really appreciated. The pod itself was a cosy, very comfortable and we are so happy we could take our fur friend. Thank you, Anna, for a lovely stay! We would definitely come back again!

Anna was very helpful throughout the process. We loved everything about the pod, it was exactly what we expected. Yes there is a fence surrounding the pod, which some people have complained about, but personally think it was great as we had a own little garden with privacy. The parking situation was very easy and straightforward, plenty of room. The location is perfect, the pub in the village is only at 5 minute walk away and the owner and the locals are extremely friendly. We had dinner they're the one night and it was great. I would definitely recommend Anna's pod,💯

Nothing to dislike,

A very well set up pod, with very good facilities, and lovely to be able to have breakfast outside on the decking if we wanted to. Great location, walking distance from the wonderful village pub. A great base for doing the 3 Castles Walk.

Beautiful location, a great view right out the front window. Close to Oldfield forge. Clean and all facilities working well.

Very quiet and private. Easy to find and get in- great instructions! Very comfortable beds. Plenty of space for a pod. Lovely proper ground coffee! Walking distance to lovely village common, children’s park and pub.

Lovely cosy place to stay. Very close to old field forge (which was why we booked it). Would recommend a short stay!
