Casa à Porta do Torreão

We enjoyed our stay here so much and I can say it exceeded our expectations in many ways. The apartment was exactly as described, spotless and spacious with all sorts of amenities and thoughtful touches such as toiletries in the bathroom, beach chairs, kitchen spices/crockery, powerful air conditioning units, blackout blinds, and a plate of fresh figs in the fridge. Parking was also available for free less than 5 minutes away. Silvia's communication was excellent and she was so accommodating when we accidentally arrived early. We also stayed here when the Medieval festival was going on and we could not believe how well located the place was, we could step out of the front door and be right in the centre of everything which we thoroughly enjoyed. Silvia also provided us with wristbands for the festival which was another added bonus. All in all it was a magical visit and we would love to stay again in future!

The bed mattress was pretty uncomfortable (very firm!) and although the kitchen was fairly well stocked it was missing a good frying pan and spatula but these things did not detract much from our stay.

Beautiful little house with plenty of room

The location was brilliant for my requirements. The property was sweet and with a little thought could have been brilliant.

Cleanliness - the place needed a good clean. Decor - it was drab and dreary. There was a lack of any comfort but with very little effort the place could have been made to look inviting and welcoming and you might want to stay there to relax. The bathroom was clean and had recently been renovated, the rest of the house needs to be brought up to the same standard.

Location was good. Had washing facilities. Host left oranges which was nice.

Bed was uncomfortable. Internet wasn't working but not host fault.

Excelente estadia e local

Very large accommodation. Everything you needed was available. Convenient parking nearby. Very close to the town centre, you can walk everywhere.

The décor and interior design are somewhat worn and outdated.

Lovely traditional Portuguese house, great communication from the owner who generously left water and fruit in the fridge for us, self check in, entire place to ourselves, spacious lounge area, line to hang out clothes outside.
