Duck Cottage

簡素だけど清潔でとても居心地が良いコテージ。設備もしっかりあり、きめ細やかな配慮がされていることが分かる。 ロケーションは飲食店や商店、スーパーに近くて便利。

洗濯機の使い方がマニュアルを読んでやったがその通りにならなかった。何か違うことをしてたのだと思う。

Perfect location, lovely cottage with everything you need.

Beautiful property within 1 minute from the centre of Thirsk. View looking over the river and with the ducks even coming round to the kitchen door. We left a pair of shoes behind and we hadn't realised but the owners contacted us and got them delivered to us with a couple of days This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Private setting, very spacious for out short stay and an excellent location

Literally everything! The location was knock out, the rooms were all excellently presented and purposeful! Netflix was a great touch (although we couldn’t get it to load the “Duck Cottage” profile) Heating was mercifully simple to use. Our first days weather was 21 degrees and the second night 8! Unless I misread the Duck Cottage instruction book, the heating instructions didn’t quite match up with the actual system control-could just have been my misinterpretation though. Loved the area of Thirsk loved the wee green next to the river and all the ducks and birds.

The only thing, only thing, was the “chef’s” knives were very blunt! But that’s me being very nit picky!

In all a perfect getaway cottage. Warm and cosy with everything you could need. A huge tick was the bed, most comfortable night sleep especially the pillows (where do you get them, was like sleeping on a cloud). All I can say is we’ll be back.

The lock box is adjacent to the front door, the location is excellent and when we had a small issue with the heating the hosts quickly resolved it

I have yet to stay in self catering home that has bath sheets instead of bath towels, Duck Cottage is no different and i have never stayed in one where the washing up liquid ran out on day 2.
