The welcome box was a lovely suprise! The cottage was cozy and exceptionally well-placed for a mooch around Thirsk, or travelling further to explore.

"We had a very enjoyable and satisfying stay."

The location was just perfect, very handy for the centre of Thirsk yet in a very quiet and private location. Walking distance to various lovely pubs with great food. Also very handy for takeaway shops which were less than two minutes away. It was great to have a welcome box with tea, coffee and sugar etc and having fresh milk in the fridge. lovely and warm with the heating coming on late afternoon. Parking was easy with a council window sticker left for us to use.
