Duck Cottage

Superb location for site seeing. Really good fercilites. Clean and a very comfortable cottage. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

The cottage was so near the centre and yet it was so quiet. Lovely position near the river. It was great to have the parking permit

We have stayed in this lovely cottage before and will definitely go back. It is cosy and comfortable and has everything you want in a lovely location around the corner from the town centre. Parking is free on the Riverside mews. It is normally 1 hour parking on the street so if there is no space available you can park across the road in a large carpark until space becomes available and then you are supplied with a resident's permit. I will mention, because it is an old cottage the stairs are steep and have a kite turn, so if you have mobility issues check with the owners first. The owners are very helpful and quick to reply to messages.

Our second visit. Gorgeous cottage with all you could ever need. Beautifully furnished and right in the centre of town. Parking included. Perfect for exploring North Yorkshire.
