Beautifully decorated. Cosy feel.

Check in/ check out time a little shorter than I would have liked. One hour either side would have made a big difference- I realise this was available for a combined price of £35 or £20 for movement of one time

Clean, cute and everything you need

The property was beautiful, quirky and very well decorated. The bedroom/bathroom upstairs was exceptional so gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and included a dishwasher and washing machine, should you need them. The Butcher’s shop next door was excellent. Try the breakfast baps, so tasty. Communication with the owner was good and we were kept informed on a regular basis.

The fact there was no parking at the property. We had to park about a quarter of a mile, uphill on the road. Not great. We noticed a big, empty car park at the back of the butchers shop which has a barrier across. Maybe, the Old Post owner could sort some parking out with the butcher? The road outside the property was so noisy at all hours. We were woken quite a few times. The bedroom could do with a full length mirror and the shower needs a soap dish on the wall.

A stunning setting with beautiful period features, finished with modern complimentary furnishings. The bath and shower were our favourite features. The old post office has so much character and I would highly recommend. We definitely will be returning. On a side note, the butchers 5metres away makes for the best bacon sandwiches, coffee and fresh orange juice to start your day!

Perfect destination for a romantic retreat. The property was so well furnished, we felt right at home!

Was bigger than it looks & was really clean & charming. Was very nicely located for a nice walk into Whitby.
