Extra tea towels and a little upkeep on the decking …few areas that are rough on the feet …splinters!

great to have parking, fantastic hot tub, amazing views

no tv in the bedroom , could do with more cooking items - some pans did not work on the hob

Amazing location and wow, the views! We had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning inc dishwasher tablets. Ali our host was very helpful with excellent communication and if anything was missing or needed fixing, Jens would come to the rescue and/or there was always a back up. He’s the chap that also tests the hot tub every single morning so you don’t have to. Follow the rules of the steamer properly too and cover your neck are for it to work properly. It’s fabulously soothing. I would advise to check what’s left over from other holiday makers (cooking oil etc) and then buy your own stuff from the local shops. Also do your research and read the reviews e.g. bring your own loose coffee and dressing gowns. And yes it’s an ancient white low-sloped cottage, I think the only one left on that side of the hill so there are a few steps to get in. For the actual parking and entry address, I would use the YO22 4HD post code for ‘Marsden Place’), look on The Ropery road side and Google street view it. Look for the 3 parking slots - it’s the one in the right out of the three facing the water.

LOCATION WAS GREAT AND VIEW EXCEPTIONAL

FELT SAUNAS IN UPSTAIRS BATHROOM WERE NOT NECESSARY AND MADE BATH HARD TO USE WITH SMALL SHOWER OVER. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF BATH WAS WHERE THE SAUNAS WERE OR EVEN JUST A WALK IN SHOWER

Comfortable bed. Lovely shower. Great hot tub.

Fresh milk on arrival would be good, least expected due to price of accommodation. Coffee pods but the coffee machine was for filtered coffee. General up keep of the garden overgrown & outside dirty. Severe steps down to harbour area should be mentioned.

Location was great, very clean property. Would have helped if the property had a small saucepan

Views from hot tub were amazing. Fully serviced each day to ensure working correctly as well. Property also has a travel cot and highchair available as well as a selection of games for little ones.

Bathroom in attic has sloped ceiling and getting in and out of bath was a bit awkward. Rooms would benefit from blackout blinds/curtains.
