self catering but there was a local pub offering a good selection of home cooked food when we did not want to cook. ideally situated just out of town, quiet rural setting

Wonderful cottage, there was everything you needed and more. Beautiful location. The hosts were always available helpful and friendly with their little son and dogs. Will be bgoing back. Village is only a mile away.

Great location close to family we were visiting in Thirsk. Have stayed at property before & we will be back for sure! The hosts are super friendly & welcoming. Everything was ready when we arrived. Parking right next to the accommodation. Nice accommodation with kitchen, living room, bedroom & bathroom. V clean & tidy. Has everything we needed for a pleasant comfortable stay.

Cottage was absolutely spotless! Beds were comfortable. Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We'd 100% stay here again. Next time we may try one of the glamping pods.

The entrance to the plot where the rental properties are is hard to spot, and the sign advertising the property was laying on the ground. We drove past 3 times before we found it.
