Dimora del Pavone

The location is really lovely, hidden away among old characterful streets. The owner met us from the taxi and took us to the property which we would never have found on our own!

The property was a beautifully renovated old house, so it's got a lot of character and charm. The host was kind and flexible. He let us in to drop our luggage before the check in time, which was a real life-saver for tourists in a small town with no luggage storage service.

Fantastic location in the medieval city, with the Roman/ancient city underneath. Nicely designed historic appartment. Great for proximity to Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana.

Parking is 600m distance and costs 15 euro per day. Due to ZTL, it is not possible to arrive any closer to the appartment. The public transport between Rome and Tivoli is awful, making car travel the only realistic option. The city centre is neglected and overgrown, a sad state of affairs given the beauty and prestige of Tivoli.

The owner was there to greet us and showed the house around. The location is in the old town centre and very close to Villa d'este. Amazing location and a very unique home. Internet was good and got the kids occupied when we come home from our daily trips. Tivoli was our base when we stayed in Italy. We travelled by train to Rome and speed train to Venice. Simply love it!

I think there were small insects that bite us at night. Not the fault of the owner - but perhaps it's common in Tivoli as we are heading towards summer.

The house was a nice restoration of an old place in the heart of Tivoli. The location was great for a small market, a few restaurants, gelato, and the major sites of Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana. Paid parking was available in 10 mins walk and the train station was 15 mins. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our family of eight.

The only downside to the place is the street noise. There was plenty of residential and work traffic down the little street and the noise was prevalent in the main bedroom. Didn't keep us from sleeping, but it was enough to notice. Otherwise, no complaints.

The layout was unique and had lots of old architecture in it. 10 minute walk from the station and Villa d’Este. Good location and fun town to walk around.

I love everything about this apartment. I have stayed here before and will stay again. The check-in process is easy and the apartment is in a beautiful location and is very well equipped. I never want to leave at the end of stay here.

Very nice old building

The bedrooms. One in basement had no window so no one would sleep in it. The one on second lower level was a single bed. Two of us had to sleep on the couch

Funky place. Big dining room area to make food. Quiet. Walkable to sites.

Couch in living room not comfortable. Upstairs toilet didn't flush. Parking was in a very steep difficult to manage lot but free.
