Ryelands Cottage

Exceptional service from friendly hosts. Good location in the country and ten minutes from Totnes.

We absolutely loved the peaceful and quiet location of this cottage. It was a really good size, could easily sleep up to 7 people. The bedrooms were spacious. The big window in one of the bedrooms that leads out into the garden is a beautiful addition. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for a break. The TV was fab, our grandson particularly loved the Transformers channel :). The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in during a holiday stay. Enjoyed it very much.

There was a little bit of damp over one of the windows downstairs but it didn't have any bearing on our stay. Some cobwebs in places so I would probably speak to the cleaners about that but again it did not spoil our stay in any way.

Spacious cottage set in a lovely location. Well equipped and clean.

There wasn’t any dislikes, the only recommendation I would say is that they could do with a folder with more/all instructions for electrical equipment, there was a one pager, but couldnt find any instructions on the cooker.

Very well kitted out with good quality kitchen ware and bedding. Lovely comfy sofa and big smart tv. Lots of room and our own garden. We loved the quiet with bird song and countryside views

Needs a lick of paint here and there at this price. Stripping our own beds into laundry bags was a first! We go away several times a year and have never come across this before, but it made us laugh! We were a bit scared of the long narrow track in case someone was coming the other way. It never happened but felt like a roller coaster ride every time 😳 😂
