Hot tub perfect, good kitchen and living room facilities. Powerful hot shower. Great location for exploring Whitby on foot. Easy access on arrival.

Steep and uneven climb to the property but it was managable for anyone with good mobility and unavoidable given the perfect central location of the property.

the steps were very slippery up to the house could do with a good jet washing and gritting in bad weather

A lovely little cottage in a great location. Cosy and clean with pretty much all you need in the kitchen (washing up liquid etc). The hot tub area was nice and private and the bed was comfy

The only minor things we found was the hot tub area was too dark, as its winter the solar lights didn't work and the wooden cover didn't go right over the hot tub so if it was raining the towels etc would've been soaked. A manual for the cooker and dishwasher would be really useful as it took us ages to work out how to use them. The gate into the property didn't close as the wood has swollen so kept banging in the wind and the main door seemed like it needed some attention or replacing. These things wouldn't stop me going back as it is an ideal get away place

No milk for tea/hot drinks ..yet provided everything else you would expect like tea bags, biscuits etc. Check in and out times not great, with an expensive £50 fee to extend.

Location of cottage was lovely.

No on site parking.

Handy for tourists spots in Whitby

The back door handle had fallen off when we got there so we couldn’t use the back door, the hot tubs most places I’ve stayed have been ready for arrival, this one had a huge list of instructions on what you had to do to use and by the time we tried we had no time as couldn’t use it after 10. Parking is a bit far but to be honest didn’t bother us as we didn’t have much luggage to carry.
