Close to high street and shops while still being a quiet location. Beautiful starry skies and the sounds of owls at night. good location for hiking.

"Relaxing stay"

Very cosy , clean accommodation over 3 floors. Bedrooms are on 2 floors & quite bijou but it is an old property, beds are very comfortable. Lovely sitting rooms and we were lucky to have some sunshine which was lovely to see chilling over morning coffee. The day we arrived was just before storm Éowyn struck and the following day was a power outage! However power outage was short lived & the rest of the stay was less eventful with Saturday being a stunning crisp sunny day which we spent on Lindisfarne. Would certainly recommend a stay here

"We enjoyed our stay but property could benefit from some improvements."

It suited our needs for a meet up with friends.

The shower room at the back of the house was freezing even with the central heating on at all times it needs a new window and some insulation. The temperature was only 10degrees whilst the rest of the house was perfectly warm. The outside temperature was about zero. It probably is fine in warmer weather.
