Falstaff House, listed building, a delightful late-Georgian holiday cottage in a great location in central Alnwick

the location was within walking distance of the town. it was easy to find when we got there. well equipped house.

Loved the layout and the two bathrooms and the personal touches that the owner left us.

A very well organised, clean, welcoming property. The best we have stayed in. Very good location.

Our only concern was finding a parking space close by. We eventually found one by the church.

The house is in a great location and central to the town. Easy access to the Castle and all shops and supermarkets. The coast is only 8 miles away, such as Alnmouth and Amble. The house has everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable holiday. Parking is directly outside and there is always a chance of finding a space. Falstaff house is a very cosy home, so wasn't cold at all. The place is very spacious and the main bedroom has its own bathroom. Second bedroom uses the main bathroom, which has a bath tub as well as shower. A big thank you to the owner Louise, who does her upmost to make your stay so enjoyable. Milk is provided and their is plenty supplies of tea and coffee and homemade cake and biscuits to get you started. Would highly recommend this property to stay in for a short break or long term holiday. Can't wait to return again.

Perfectly situated just off the Main Street. Excellent facilities with attention to detail and added treats on arrival. Superhosting at its best with advice and information on places to visit and things to do.

Cannot fault property . The swing sign outside the pub opposite could do with oiling as it’s squeaks loudly in the wind but that is nothing to do with the property ;)

The accommodation was perfect with a large front room, kitchen which leads into a lovely courtyard, big upstairs with two bathrooms and roomy bedrooms! We travelled with our young son and I can confirm you can fit a ‘next to me’ next to the bed in the main bedroom - just incase anyone else is looking to book here with small children. It’s lovingly stocked with all the things you’ll need for a comfortable stay - tea, coffee, cooking equipment, fluffy towels etc The location is really central to Alnwick, we walked into town to collect a takeaway on the first night and it was a 10 min round trip! it's also a perfect base for travelling to seahouses, alnmouth, craster, bamburgh etc! Plus the famous Barter Books is 5 mins away. Finally, we were greeted by a welcome hamper with a card complete with suggestions of things to do during our stay + a lovely bottle of fizz and card for our anniversary. We’d love to stay again!

Just one thing - we could of done with a hoover just to whip over the downstairs floors while we were staying.

Beautiful house, responsive and thoughtful owner , with a wealth of knowledge, Very kind and lovely treats on our arrival, comfy beds just fab!
