Tivoli Charming Houses - Domus Aefula and Domus Albula

The apartment was large and very clean. The beds were the most comfortable I have experienced on my travels. The location was fabulous.

The appartement Albula of Tivoli Charming Houses is situated in centre of the ancient and charming town of Tivoli. From the outside it doesn't look to exiting, but inside we found the most modern and beauitiful decorated appartement. We felt at home imidiately. On our arrival we were very well received in a personal and friendly manner by the hosts, Pietro and Alessia. Pietro gave us lots of information on what to do and what to see in an excelent english (which is not too common i Italy) The appartement has a personal touch, enough space for a small family, and it was spotless clean and very well equipped for a long stay, including washing machine on the top of the staircase. The beds were very good, and gave us good nights sleep. There is also and terrace where we enjoyed the warm autum evenings with a glas of wine and an evening meal. We would have loved to stay much longer. The appartement is in the middle of the town, yet very quiet surroundings, and it's less that ten minutes walk from the railway station with good connections to Rome Central Station. Highly recommended.

A lovely place right in the centre of Tivoli, run by very nice hosts. Furniture in a friendly, welcoming design. Lot's of space, except maybe in the bathroom. Very good location to discover Tivoli, big parking is close by

The mattress of the master bedroom is really very hard. But some people might like it that way... Part of the furniture on the veranda should be replaced

Fantastic place in the old part of Tivoli. Large rooftop-terrace, spacious apartment, very well equipped kitchen and, last but not least, a friendly and helpful host. And even though you are in the center of the town, this is a quiet place!

Not much. You just need to be aware that the apartment is on the third floor and there's no elevator. So if you have trouble lifting heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs, this is not the place for you. Also the arrival by car is a bit complicated. While you can drive all the way to the apartment on open streets, you will need to be vary careful not to enter the zona traffico limitato, which would become a costly mistake.

this was a fabulous introduction to Tivoli….10-15 minute walk from the train station so very handy to visit Rome and also Florence but having done that I’d prefer to go back and spend a little more time just staying around Tivoli. Alessia & Pietro we’re delightful hosts and spent a long time sharing information when we arrived. my son and I enjoyed our short time there and would love to return. thank you.
