Alfar Story - Évora House

It felt like home.

The second bathroom was not closer to the bedroom. But understand that was the only place it could have been located.

N/A lovely property to rent for two or 4 people. This was in a great location… with easy walking. We enjoyed our stay and felt very confortable. My only issue is that we arrived with a car, and Parking instructions were confusing/not clear. We never DID find the recommended parking place, but as we arrive late on a weekend day, street parking was fee. I would book again!

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet. Great location. Well equipped kitchen. We had excellent communication for check in.

Great apartment with all you need. Location is quiet but convenient to all in Évora. Apartment is very comfortable.

This is a beautiful 2 bed, 2 bathroom property located in a very quiet area. There is a lot of natural light and plenty of space with a beautiful kitchen that was very well stocked with crockery, glasses and utensils. Its very stylish but also comfortable and a lot of thought has gone into the design. There is a washing machine and a very good drying line and a lovely outdoor courtyard off the 2nd bedroom. We decided to eat in on one night as the kitchen and dining area were so nice but we highly recommend eating at Lombardo which is close by but you need to book. There is also a small supermarket close by, on the main street that you walk into the centre that was incredibly well stocked and priced.

This is not a negative but there are 12 internal steps and we had heavy suitcases which we really should try and not have so it was a little bit of effort but anyone with mobility concerns should be aware. There isnt a dishwasher which is also not a problem as they provide washing up requirements. We took the recommendation to park nearby and wheel our suitcases in and it is cobblestones so its bumpy but it isnt far.

The location of the property is on a quiet street, walking distance to attractions and less than a 5-minute walk from the free municipal parking lot. The space was well-designed for those requiring separate bedrooms, but with an inviting living area. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were dark at night for good sleep.

The internet (at least on the upper unit) was very spotty and only maintained connection about 10% of the time.

A nicely located house, close to everything. Very convenient that it is so close to the public parking. Easily walkable to the city centre with grocery stores close by. House was pictured accurately and fulfilled our needs for a quick stopover. Everything you need to prepare meals and get a good night me sleep. House itself is a bit dark and damp feeling however well equipped with heaters in all rooms. During the day, ability to open windows and shutters provided natural light. Host was very responsive.
