They have insect nets in every window. Spacious apartment for 2 people.

Washing machine is outside and little moldy. The house smells like mold. We had 3 windows open and it didnt help. The water is heated in gas boiler and you need to wait few seconds for hot water. Also if you start small stream of water, the boiler never turn on.

Lovely position just a short walk from the Centre of Fiesole. Everything you need is provided, including a bottle of wine and water on arrival. The gardens are lovely.

Nothing

The location is optimal to visit Florence: there is a bus stop 5 minutes away which takes you directly to the center of Florence for less than $2 in 20 min., and it comes every 15 min. You cannot beat that! The house is nicely decorated and everything feels new. Filippo has included everything you might need (plenty of utensils etc. but also condiments and toiletries, which is a really nice plus). Some people complained about the pool's cleanliness in other reviews but now there is a nice cover that you can easily pull to keep the leaves from falling in the pool. The bedding is also very nice (even the sofabed). And a great bonus are the screens to keep mosquitos from entering the house if you open the windows.

The house could be a bit cleaner, and there is a steep hill to reach the street (but the owner made up for it by carrying our heaviest suitcase and by leaving a nice bottle of wine for us). The free (and safe) parking is down the steep street, but if you use the bus you won't need to go to your car. Then there is the fact that you can barely stay in the yard (or use the pool) because of the troves of mosquitos, but there is nothing one can do about that, it's to be expected in Italy!

The facilities were great especially the swimming pool. The views from the upper garden were stunning. Nicely located in a quite town from where you could easily reach Florence by bus (1.50€ single ticket). The host (Filippo) was accommodating and very helpful; it was a nice touch to be welcomed with a bottle of wine.

If it wasn’t for visible damp marks on the walls and the smell, we would give the property 10/10.

Nice and cosy place, very friendly host, great garden. Fiesole is a very nice village with amazing views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside.
