Lovely quiet cottage with designated parking. Dog friendly with small grassed fenced area at the front,good treats left for our dog. Exceptionally clean. Furniture was good quality. Didn’t meet any of the hosts however all communication was quick and very easy check in. Will be hopefully be staying here again.

We liked the quiet, and the peacefulness..The place was lovely to walk around, and the Apple Inn was a lovely Pub, and the food was outstanding

Nice cottage,well equipped and comfortable.

Blinds in the bedroom velux windows was hard to close due to they were very high up so up early due to light shining in. The Pub was more of a restaurant with just a very small snug.

Lovely property. Nice and clean and cosy. 5 minute drive to the castle/beach. Lots of communication in the lead up.

Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated. Layout was very good, ample room for the two of us, especially the bedroom which was a good size. I especially loved the complimentary access to the spa. The welcome gift of wine was a thoughtful touch.

I found it difficult to lock and unlock the front door as the key just went round and round in the lock. My husband managed it but had to really pull the door towards hjm.

Very clean, quite cosy once it warmed up. Heating was off when we arrived and it was a cold wet day. Not a lot of regular cutlery and no instructions for oven, dishwasher etc but we figured it out. Bottle of wine, biscuits and doggy bag is a nice touch.

It took a while to warm up - most of the evening, and the bathroom was cold most of the time. The shower took ages to get ‘hot’ and the pressure was not great. Glad we took extra blankets for sitting at night, draft excluder required for door in main room out to porch, we put the dogs towel down. Realised on the 2nd day the air vent for main window was open too, so once that was sorted it warmed up quicker. Not a lot of information about the area, it said there was a village shop but no idea where? There’s only one pub to go to nothing else around.
