Beautiful large victorian waterfront house

Great location. Very quiet. Beds were comfortable.

Could do with a downstairs toilet. Otherwise all was ok.

Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable house in an excellent location. Good value for money and good communication from owner.

We had difficulty opening and closing some of the windows. There were no instructions for the TV and appliances. The WiFi password we were given didn't work, though we found the correct password on the router. There were just four of us, so the single bathroom was not a problem, but we thought a house that size should have another toilet/ shower room.

Location and beautiful house

I was concerned about parking 2 x cars on streets that had looked quite full on Google Maps, but it was easy and we decided to book parking permits via the owner - which is a really useful service. The house has plenty of space and nicely located with a relatively short walk to all areas of interest in either direction. The house has more than enough of the essentials for a reasonably large family stay - we had six. The owners are extremely responsive to correspondence and very helpful. I would certainly recommend this property as a true value for money option.

This is not a complaint, but because of the description, I had thought that it would actually be a waterfront property, but it isn't. I was a little lazy in not checking Street View until a couple of days before travelling; it is not too far to walk to the waterfront down a couple of streets, but it is not waterfront. It is however on a very quiet street, not a problem and this should not put anybody off booking.
