Easy to find and get in, lovely house with everything you need.

More parking could have been good with larger groups but we still made do with on street parking further up the road!

Perfect location and plenty of room for 5 people

Place was dirty and the heating was controlled via an app - when we contact the landlord, he came round and said he thought it was fine, it wasn't, it was cold, we were all freezing during the night. We actually cancelled our return visit for the following week, as it was that cold and dirty.

The location, by Ninian Park station, was exactly what we needed. It was on a fairly busy road but the door tucked around the corner which was good. It's a lovely little house, very compact and the space inside used well. Master bedroom, bed and en-suite are very nice. I booked at very short notice and on the basis that Booking.Com said very clearly that it was pet friendly and we had to take our two dogs with us this time - there was a small and secure back garden. The host did actually allow us to come after initially sending me a message the night before arrival to tell me that dogs aren't allowed. YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS, as B.Com obviously have some information seriously wrong. We had lots of Trick or Treaters ringing the doorbell during the evening.

I searched only on pet friendly places and this seemed to meet the mark. Had message the night before to say 'dogs not allowed'. Nothing else. So I contacted with screenshots of my confirmation clearly showing pet friendly and asked him to cancel and refund me if I couldn't come (it was non refundable at less than 24 hours before arrival). He responded by sending me a copy of his policy - I sent him my confirmation and screenshots of the ad showing dog friendly. He did then phone me to say that we could come but mustn't leave dog poop in the garden, that's fair enough. So it did all happen. You are greeted on entry by a large sign listing 6 points that are NOT ALLOWED !!, didn't feel very friendly at all. The back garden was secure, very long untidy grass in a small square, a medium sized plant pot full of dirty water with lots of floating cigarette ends in and around it - this is obviously the smoking area as opposed to the dog poop area. Inside, it was equipped to a minimum really, no spatula or tongs, if you fry an egg you have to remove from pan with a spoon. Only one tea towel and one small polish cloth - doesn't really make sense as I could and would have cleaned up a lot more if I'd had the materials to do it. No instructions on anything. We were cold in the evening and it was only on the last day that I worked out how to put the heating on for a restricted hour, and it was turned very low. The bed in the second room was ok but didn't feel very sturdy, not as comfortable as the master one, the third room had a small single bed, would have been great for a child, not that comfy for my full sized teenager. In the lounge, the sofa bed is very uncomfortable to sit on, made spine ache very quickly, but youngest teen said it was ok for sleeping on, more comfy opened out with the mattress on. I did make sure I thoroughly checked that there was no sign our dogs had been in before we left.
