The house was clean and comfortable

The yard at the back could do with tidying up and a better seating area

Great location - close to the train station and only a 15 minute walk into the centre. The interior design and furniture was fantastic - it made it feel incredibly homely but not so much that you felt you were staying in someone else's home. The shower was great and the bed was comfy. Beautiful house, great location and a fantastic price.

Lovely comfy beds, big bathroom and shower. Great to be able to walk into city centre. Reasonably quiet location.

Markings for heat settings have mostly been erased on oven ,making things a bit of a guess but we coped.

The house is in a residential area and a reasonable (approx 15 mins) walk from the city centre

Some more details on the information sheet provided regarding the operation of the tv,dvd and the heating was programmed i.e times it was on etc would have been helpful

The location And price were fantastic for London. Superb host and very fast at responding to any problems/questions, wpuld stay again but is always booked up! Act fast!

Everything about the house was as described, the kitchen was large and well equiped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. the rooms were large. The parking was limited but we managed to find a space very close to the property every day. The property is close to shops and city centre The WiFi was good and very reliable. Overal a fabulous stay and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come to Chester.

A very small point to mention would be, if you are a light sleeper you may want to take ear plugs or perhaps sleep in the back bedroom, as it is a busy road with traffic. Some instructions on how to work the thermostat for the heating would be good.

The bed is comfortable. Just like a home. Good for long stay. Easy to park.

We loved how close the property was to the city centre and local shops for essentials. The house has some quirky features which we liked, the beds were comfortable and the property was well equipped for our stay. The house is a perfect base for families with ample space - note - if you are not used to noise the front bedroom may not suit you so request the smaller bedroom or the second floor bedroom when staying. We found the parking easy ( but it is a busy residential area). We would stay again.

Although, at first glance, the property was clean, it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There was hair left in the shower, there was a dirty grill tray in the kitchen cupboard, and the microwave was dirty. We also struggled to get the heating and hot water working, and we only managed it ourselves because we worked out how to pressurise the boiler, but it took us a while. I think the pressure on the boiler is an issue as I noted this has been mentioned in another review, so personally, I would leave instructions for staying guests so they can quickly and easily rectify this problem should it happen again.

Comfy and well decorated. Lots of provision in the kitchen and in the bedrooms with wardrobes and lamps. Nice and warm with heating always at our control. Beds were firm which we prefer. Good quality furniture and TV.

It's on a busy road so the main bedroom is noisy if you're not used to living on a busy road. There's quite a bit of mold in the bathroom which is expected of a Victorian terrace.
