The Old Mill and Cottage

Everything was there is excellent order - warm welcome from the owners and happy to help with any extras

Good location, excellent and attentive host. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked for a larger group. Mouthwatering delicious cake.

The property was located in a lovely village in beautiful countryside, unfortunately without a pub but The Boat at Cromford, a short drive away, was very good. There was plenty of space and a comfortable lounge with lots of books had they been needed and the hosts were attentive without being intrusive. Very good value for money for our party of 7 people.

It wasn't clear that The Cottage is in fact separate from The Old Mill but access was only 50 yards along the pavement and it worked out well in the end to have a second kitchen to prepare a meal whilst watching the rugby. The facilities were a bit dated but comfortable and the spiral staircase down to the kitchen and 2 bedrooms might be a bit tricky for some and for luggage/supplies etc .. but didn't present a major problem for us. There was less parking available on the premises than had seemed the case but readily available on the street and overall none of these were more than very minor issues which didn't detract from a very enjoyable and good value weekend.

Plenty of room, great location, comfortable and cosy.

I had never been to such a well equiped holiday let. All the cutlery, crockery, pot & pans, etc one would need for a party of 12. If you should find your self house bound there are plenty of books, videos and games for all ages. And as for the cake I say no more!

Very minor, children don't recognise a closed toilet door might mean someone is in. It was broken at the time of our visit

The location was fine. The bed was very comfy. The hosts, Terence and Imelda, were very friendly and helpful. Car parking was good too. The cottage met all our needs.

Wi-Fi was poor. Kept loosing wi-fi. The hosts tried their best to help us, but the wi-fi connection was not very good.
