Very cosy sitting room, well appointed kitchen. A nice quiet village.

The mattress in the double room was too much too soft for my liking

Lovely cottage would definitely reccomend with both coast and countryside on the doorstep perfect getaway.

It was absolutely perfect for our needs and full of character and charm. Everything we needed was there and the host was extremely helpful with the one query we had about the heating. The neighbours and their little dog were lovely too. Our three year old was also very taken with "the holiday house!" Highly recommend and will be back!

Close to the seaside, comfortable beds.

No privacy. The back garden is connected to the next door and their conservatory. The house is quite outdated and the school on the opposite side of the road is quite loud (if you like sleeping in).

Great location, got everything you need and had a lovely relaxing trip. Hope to see you again very soon

The cottage was lovely, homely, clean, had everything you needed and perfect location.

We arrived the day after a big storm in Jan 25. Our host had power cuts at their home but the cottage was unaffected. Despite the problems with power cuts she was experiencing she brought us some logs for the fire which was lovely and thoughtful.

The mattress on the main double bed was extremely uncomfortable. Sagging in the middle with no support. We only used the double bed for one night. On the second and third nights we used the single beds which were a bit better. One of the single beds was very close to a radiator which was very hot, to the point that a slight touch would be painful. We didn't want to turn the radiator off as the entire cottage was cold. We had to move the single bed away from the radiator. This is an old cottage with poorly insulated windows and doors. Even though the central heating boiler was working and all the radiators were hot the cottage felt cold. There was no main thermostat to centrally control the temperature of the entire cottage.
