Charming place .... wonderfull place

The property, described as a 'cave house' was unusual and full of character in terms of design, layout and furnishings. The photographs on the website represent the house accurately. The location, right opposite the Alhambra, was superb, with incredible views from the three terraces on the first floor. The house was very well equipped and comfortably furnished. Communication at all times with the owner/manager was excellent, which included a detailed video of how to drive to the closest point to the property, negotiating the narrow, winding streets of the area.

There was nothing to fault.

this is the loveliest place to stay in the Albaicyn i could fault anything at all. A little taste of authentic living in a truly spectacular position. The view of the Alhambra breath taking.

The hob was a bit temperamental and we couldn't always get the coffee maker to work on the hob. Also very surprised at just how busy it was up there with tourists in abundance.

This is a true ‘find’! Perched up in the Albaicin quarter of the city, the roof terrace has the most fantastic view of the Alhambra. The pictures don’t do justice to the roof terrace!

One of the bedrooms is at the back of another, separated by a curtain, so if everyone in your group needs privacy, this might be an issue. It was fine for us but worth noting, as we hadn’t realised.

It’s a very cool setting. The terrace is superb and it has everything we needed.

Steep walk home! Also only 1 bed made up, which was a small issue, but maybe worth checking in advance. I stayed with my daughter not my husband.

No parking, but we were prepared for that.

The location is very good. You have to be in shape, but we knew that, so it wasn't a problem. The view from the terrace is spectacular! We were a little worried about the cold, but the radiators were sufficient. Generally I would like to come back to the place.

The location is great, as are the views. It is nice to walk around the neighbourhood. The property is basic, but has most things covered.

Parking is a challenge and there are no grocery stores nearby. We didn’t want to move our car (or drive anywhere we didn’t need to) so we had to find the minimarts. They have the basics, so that is fine. Couldn’t find the wifi password anywhere, but they messaged us back relatively quickly.

We loved the atmosphere and location and views. We knew it was farther away from the center because we’re on the cave houses so we were expecting that. The views are AMAZING and we could actually find the cave house from the Alhambra, which was really fun. The bus stop was very close and easy to access. The house was clean. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and left us some bread, jam and milk. It was a great stay.

My only complaint is that the bathroom and living space gets a little warm but the rest of the house stays cool. Just a heads up.
