Lovely village location, clean and bright. Drive way accessible with a bit of care.

Location

Location in centre of village was great. Narrow lane and parking space too small for our car, but that was not a problem. Cottage was spotless and very warm with a good shower. Loved how quiet it was and so close to the shops and walks etc The bed linen and towels etc were very good. Great to have outside yard for dog to run about in.

The bed in main room was small and not very comfy. No shower mat (we bought one) as the bath was slippy and potentially dangerous. Could have done with some instructions on the cooker. The bins had not been emptied but the host did that whilst we were there which was appreciated. There was not a calendar on wall for dates of re-cycling bins.

the house was really beautiful and the kitchen was spot on Hot chocolate was appreciated

Just need some salt and rinse aid for the dishwasher

The location is ideally suited for sightseeing, from Stirling Castle to Bamburgh Castle, with a little driving. Great location if you are looking for a golfing gettaway on the coast.
