Really nice house and excellent location. Easy check in and checkout. The host was very helpful and easy to reach and help with all queries including early check in.

Cleanliness- Host was very specific about smoking rules, yet the garden was littered with cigarettes. The shower need a good scub, the walls have started to form mold, yet i swept my hand and mold came away. the en suite shower curtain also had lots of mold. The shower in main bathroom did not work. There were no flat baking trays in kitchen. No cleaning spray and only 1 sponge provided. Carpets, we were told no shoes, yet it was clear others have ignored as carpets have marks.

LED lightbulb in the hallway was a bit harsh but I've had to search for an answer because it was all good.

Location and space. Well layed out house with plenty of room. It must have been a very lovely property when first refurbished but its very tired now

Sadly the house has not been kept in pristine condition. The whole place needs a redecoration refresh and the stair and bedroom carpets a clean. The kitchen appliances are tired and have not been cleaned and are all damaged in some way or another and the dishwasher in particular needs replacing. There was only one oven rack and very limited oven ware and no oven glove making cooking at the property very tricky. We resorted to eating out and take aways. The bathroom soap holders and shower racks, shower curtain rails and shower edges are all very rusty and tile grout in corner and around the shower entrance and bath edges are black with mould and grubby at junctions. The extract fans in the bathrooms are very noisy. The toilet seats are the wrong size for the loo. Where repairs have been made in the past they have not been carried out to the same standard at the house finish so the place is starting to feel tired and is starting to unravel. It’s a shame as the location is very good and the amount of bedrooms are great with a large light and bright living space. The top floor terrace could be lovely if maintained as can be said for the small back garden terrace.
