High Hopes, Harbour Location with Sea Views

This little apartment is set in a fabulous position overlooking the harbour with a fab view from main bedroom, living room and from the small roof top patio.

The stairs down into the property wouldn't be suitable to everyone ( narrow uneven rocks) but made the property more interesting.

the property is fantastic, the location is excellent and the view brilliant, the upper patio area is a wonderful place to sit and have breakfast overlooking the harbour and only a very short walk to harbour and its pubs etc. i would advise only completely able bodied because of the steps to it but if you can then there is no better place in Brixham. oh and take small cases , we took one big case and it was difficult to get up and down the tight stairs. all in all a beautiful place and we will definitely stay again.

nothing it was superb.. up and down the tight stairs is awkward for those that are'nt as able bodied but otherwise perfect. i would advise a bath matt in the bath when showering as it gets slippery , we had to use the bath floor towel which meant it was soaking.

Steps to access property,on reflection would have booked a property with better access even though cottage was comfortable. Although booking.com says free parking this was not the case as roads too narrow Could do with a shelf in en suite as toiletries kept falling into sink

Very nice little place, extremely convient and brilliant location, right on top of all the shops and local restaurants. Beautiful view over the marina.

The location could not have been any better. Right on the quayside above some lovely restaurants and bars with views over the harbour bowl. We arrived in the dark and the view of the lights around and in the harbour as you open the gate to enter the property just takes your breath away. The owners/managers are very keen to make sure that there is nothing you need to make your stay perfect; they called before we arrived and the day after to see if all was well and the information we received before arrival was really comprehensive and easy to access.

There were security lights to help navigate the steep steps to the front door, but they had been switched off accidentally probably from inside the property. Having a torch was useful as we arrived at night. After that, the light was kept switched on and no problems at all. As everyone has said, the steps down are steep; not a problem for us; we had read the description and we had seen the other reviews so knew what to expect.

The fact it shows this nice terrace in the pictures, but it isn’t that appealing. Also you have to go up a narrow set of stairs to get to it.

The view and location were excellent. Beds were comfortable very clean. Having a BBQ was a bonus.
