Marine House Holiday Home

Our favourite stay in Scotland. Marine House is unique. The property nestles right at the harbour foreshore. Fiona was waiting for us when we arrived. She was a most delightful host, full of wonderful stories, helpful beyond measure. You have your own private flower garden behind the seawall. Take your choice of chairs at four magnificent windows, upstairs and down, all looking over the ever-changing vista of the bay, mountains, sea and sky. Try the binoculars. They are excellent. The kitchen has everything. It is really well set up. For us, this house was perfect: immaculately clean, warm, comfortable. Nothing lacking. Close to all Skye adventures. Portree is the heart of Skye, and Marine House is the heart of Portree. Cannot recommend too highly.

You must forgive the tourists for taking photos of your view.

Location, Cleanliness, facilities available, everything is spot on. Great view and fantastic value for money.

Maybe a bit more groceries like milk, bread, butter on arrival would have helped.

Fiona greeted us even if we arrived late and checked out so early. offered us a pack of eggs and a smoked salmon even 🥺 everything about this accommodation is amazing. very clean and tidy. the best accommodation for a group.

Everything about this house was exceptional. Our hostess Fiona was so kind and attentive. We arrived late but she was right there to greet us and make sure we were comfortable when moving into the house. The house sits right on the harbor looking out with picture windows into the bay. This was my favorite place to stay on our trip. Thank you Fiona for giving our family the memories for a lifetime!
